They’ve got the whole Chelmsford Browhouse & Kitchen venue for dogs to roam free and tons of Christmas props for photo ops, a present for every dachshund and lots more. In the cafe’s last trip to Essex, they had almost 200 sausages attend the event in Southend, and are looking to top it this year. At the pop up cafe, visitors will get the chance to mingle with up to 50 dachshunds per session.
There two events taking place on November 9, the ‘Dashing Daschunds Christmas Tour’ in the morning and the ‘ Jingle Paws Christmas Tour ‘ open to all breeds in the afternoon. Tickets cost from £12.50 per person – and you can take your own dog, or visit alone.
Marcus Ackford, who is one of the organisers for the event, said: “We’re so excited for this year’s Christmas Tour. We’ve been running it for years now and it’s always our favourite time of year.
We’ve got tons of Christmas photo ops and props and 90% of the dogs get their best Christmas outfits on making giving out the best dressed prize always a dilemma! This year every single dog will get a little present on entry just to say merry Christmas from us too.”
