The Pup Up Café will be at Revolution Southampton on February 18, with spaces for 300 dogs and their owners.
Dog owners can bring their cuddly companion to Revolution, in Bedford Place on February 18, to meet like minded owners and take their pets through some activities at the Valentine’s-themed event.
Attendees can take part in activities and competitions, including ball pits, toys and games for the dogs.
There will also be local trader stalls, and you can pose your pup with a plethora of props for some funny photos.
Local shelters are also being invited to bring along their dogs to see if they can be found a new home.
A spokesperson for the Pup Up Café said: “We’ve visited the city multiple times hosting our usual pop-up dachshund, pug or doodle events in Southampton.
“However, this February we’re there for our Valentine’s Tour with sessions for dachshunds, pugs and the All Paws one which is open to all friendly dogs. “Most of our events are split into sessions and tickets are available to purchase through our website -so your session time will be on your ticket. “We ask for those attending our event to please ask dog owners before petting, feeding or otherwise interacting with the doggies. “Most owners will be happy to let you interact with their pets, but always best to ask first.
“This event is also a little different from the rest – it’s a special one as we’re inviting local dog shelters along free of charge to our ‘All Paws’ session. “We are doing this in the hope that any dogs in need of adoption, can find love with potential dog owners at our Valentines event.”
There will be session of around 50 dogs at a time and dog owners should consider if their dog is appropriate for the Café.
