THE event offered a perfect opportunity for dog owners to socialise their furry companions while meeting fellow dog lovers in a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. Even non-dog owners joined in on the excitement, mingling with attendees and sharing smiles as they met the playful pups.
With a range of activities designed to delight both dogs and their humans, the Pup Up Café featured a taster agility course, plush dog sofas, toys, and prizes for the best-dressed dogs. Four-legged visitors were treated to unlimited pupupccinos, dog treats, and themed photo opportunities, ensuring tails were wagging all day long.
The event was a barking success, with over 200 dogs and their owners visiting throughout the day. The Harvey Centre hopes to host more dog-friendly events in the future.
Bryan Young, Centre Manager, The Harvey Centre says, “We are thrilled with the success of our first ever Pup Up Café. At Christmas our Grotto will be hosting Dog Days on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s and we have some exciting new plans for 2025 which will appeal to dog owners too so watch this space.”
