Dachshunds and their owners are set to descend on Revolution Parsonage Gardens for a “sausage mad day”.
Ever dreamed of being surrounded by adorable puppies with a coffee in hand? If you have, then there’s an event in May that you might want to attend.
An adorable dog-friendly pop-up café will be coming to Reading this May. Pup-Up Café will see around 150 dogs gather for a day in Reading’s Revolution bar.
This specific event is pug-themed, and local pug owners and their pups are encouraged to attend. There will be lots of activities for all to enjoy throughout the day including a best-dressed competition, a photo booth, ball pits, tunnels and more.
The event will be held on May 15 from 10am to 1:15pm. Pugs go free with pug parents able to buy tickets from Fatsoma for £9 with a 50p fee. Those without a dog can purchase tickets for £12 plus a 50p fee.
As well as offering fun activities, pugs will also be able to enjoy dog treats, unlimited free puppucinos, and more. There will also be pug-related stands where dog owners can buy lots of dog-related goodies. Pup Up Café say that it was set up to “bring the whole local dog community together.”
Pup Up Café was founded in the last decade and is based in Devon. The company hosts pop-up events across the UK and offers breed-specific events.
Staff member Beth Sharp said: “We love dogs and we love cafés. We put it all together and Pup-Up Café came to life!
“They are a great place to meet fellow dog owners/lovers to mingle, chat all things dog, get a puppuccino, view doggy-related trade stands, get some photos taken, and let your dog have all the fun in the world. In our opinion, a wonderful way to spend a few hours of a day.”
